Mid-Century Modern table bench designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller circa 1950s. Originally intended as a platform base for the Basic Cabinet Series, this versatile piece has many uses and can function as a living room coffee table, entryway or bedroom seating bench. Constructed of contrasting solid maple slats supported by ebonized finger-jointed legs.
